A little bit about me…

I am a fourth year Strategic Communication Major and Psychology Minor at the University of Minnesota. As a Strategist in the National Student Advertising Competition, I am currently working to bring a campaign to life alongside a team of talented students. I strongly believe in the power of insights and ideation to sell products, to communicate messages, and to change minds.

As an immigrant, born and raised in Colombia, I have a love for the Hispanic culture. It has become my goal to bring a unique and open-minded perspective to the workplace and to the advertising industry. I am passionate about the way consumers think about brands and the way brands impact consumers. I want to continue being the voice of the consumer in the workplace, and making sure that everyone is well represented regardless of their background.

I like staying curious and learning from those around me, as well as from my past experiences. I value hard work and self-improvement. I believe there is always room for new perspectives and new ideas.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, traveling, and reading.

2024 NSAC Strategist

This year, I had the opportunity to be part of the UMN National Student Advertising Competition as a strategist team member. From gathering primary and secondary research to conducting an ethnographic video and analysis, I helped my team build a creative brief that became the basis of a powerful campaign, winning us 1st place at the district-level competition!
